CBT and DBT are evidence-based modalities that assist patients who struggle with depression, trauma, panic disorders, personality disorders, bipolar, and related disorders, stress, anxiety, and anger to name a few. CBT is a modality involving how our thoughts are interconnected with our behaviors, and this therapy helps with distorted thinking. DBT comes from CBT, and it assists clients to live in the moment, stress coping, interpersonal relationships, and how to manage emotions. As a CMIP, she can guide her patients in mindfulness-based practices working through their stressors, anxiety, trauma, depression, anger, and addiction.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), is an evidence-based technique that implements smooth-pursuit horizontal eye movements to facilitate memory reconsolidation. Through memory reconsolidation, an individual can find relief from somatic symptoms associated with many psychological concerns. ART has been studied and utilized in working with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, and other mental health diagnoses.

Sara values a holistic approach and provides experiences in session to address both mind and body. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based model of therapy that promotes growth and healing through harmonizing parts of self. The objective of IFS is to help persons trust their inner self as a guide, to identify their needs and values, and to empower them to live accordingly.
